Virtual Guitarist Iron 2’s easy-to-navigate interface has everything you need to create a realistic hard-rocking riff fest. The Player section lets you assign a key, play style, timing, and more. You can also use Iron 2’s Instrument Mode for manually inputting your own parts. No matter what notes you select, the plug-in intelligently applies the correct guitar-centric voicing for maximum realism. The Pickup control blends between the Bridge and Neck pickups. The Character control dials in a myriad of tones and textures (Fat, Soft, Bite, and Twang). The Variance control determines how dirty and chunky your virtual guitarist plays. The Amp control toggles between six amp/speaker combinations (Direct, Clean, Crisp, Cream, Crunch, and Metal); the Drive control increases the amount of distortion from mild overdrive to paint-peeling metal textures.
