String Rhapsody

String Rhapsody combines expert composition and performance with multi-part string loops, featuring lines that interweave and complement one another. In addition to harmonizing melodies, String Rhapsody provides a natural and understated rhythm – ideal for song starters or as an accompaniment for your current projects.

200 Loops are provided, and divided into 10 Tracks – each with three variations on the original loop: taking the form of long notes (one per chord change), repeated quavers (in all parts following the chord progression) and finally a pizzicato version of the original. Each track is organized by tempo and musical key to deliver a complete range of production possibilities.

Each recording has been carefully organized to preserve the character of the instrument and capture their minute movements and resonance. All of the details have been recorded to provide you with the full character that can only come from a real string section – including fingers on the fretboard, bows against the string and their naturally rich dynamic range.

At tempos from 90-142BPM, String Rhapsody has a wealth of applications for Hip Hop, Downtempo, Chillout, House, Soul, Breaks and more. Each loop has been edited to ensure seamless looping and comes key-labelled for instant and straightforward integration in your mix.

Included in the pack are 10 String Quartet kits with 40 Full Loops [4 variations], 40 Cello Loops [4 variations], 40 Viola Loops [4 variations], 80 Violin Loops [4 variations]. There are also 203 Rex2 Loops included in the pack, which is available in multiple formats.
