Following up from the hugely successful Delicious Allstars Funk Constructor, Volume 2 brings you Loops and Samples galore, with an excessive entourage of Soul and a vintage Disco vibes. Over 500 key-labelled and tempo-synced Loops make up the pack, with Electric Guitars, Horn Sections, Keys, Drums and over 100 Live Bass loops – capable of underpinning the funky foundations of your latest track. Each loop has a number of variations in multiple musical keys – allowing you to quickly flesh out your funk arrangements
Recorded and produced by Delicious Digital’s Ed Moris, he brings his knowledge of funk to this exciting new release. Having spent the 90’s touring and session playing, he was the organ player in the house band at the infamous Acid Jazz jam sessions at the Blue Note in Hoxton Square, with Mother Earth’s Neil Corcoran, who plays bass. The 3 piece horn section features Riverside Brass’s Toby Street on trumpet, John Moore on tenor sax and Ian Maxwell on trombone. Basement Jaxx’s guitarist Andrea Terrano appears throughout this release, going deep with licks, riffs, wah and muted funk guitar. Delicious’s Liam Quinn spent several days slavishly going through every live recording and editing them into handy usable loops.
Live Percussion elements feature Acoustic Drums, Congas, Shakers and Tambourines – which sparkle and breathe life into the groove. The musical elements cover a range of classic Organs including B3 Style, Rhodes, Clavichord and even an Armon Synth! Drum Loops are delivered in separate parts for your production pleasure – ready to be dragged-and-dropped into the DAW.
In detail expect to find 1.61GB with 740 individual 24-Bit Wavs. With 539 Loops including 245 Keys Loops, 107 Bass Loops, 74 Guitar Loops, 64 Drum Loops and 49 Horn Loops. 201 Hits are included with 107 Drums & Percussion Hits, 49 Clav Hits, 14 Bass Hits, 12 Armon Hits, 10 Armon Runs and 7 Rhodes FX. 539 Rex2 files and 539 Apple Loops are also included along with 93 Software Sampler Patches for NNXT, Halion, Sfz, Kontakt and Exs24.
