Toontrack – Fields Of Rock SDX

Fields of Rock SDX features seven drum kits and a vast collection of percussion instruments, recorded by award-winning engineer, producer, and mixer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies, Royal Blood) and drummer Mat Hector (Iggy Pop, Gutterdämmerung). Recorded at Rockfield, a Welsh dairy farm-turned-studio that has left a colossal mark on its fifty-year journey through music history. A pilgrimage site for bands like Queen, Rush, Judas Priest, Hawkwind, and many of their contemporaries in the 1970s, the studio became a creative haven where some of the greatest rock songs of our time were born. But even after the heyday of classic rock, Rockfield remains a linchpin in the recording world, attracting top artists from all genres, such as Oasis, Coldplay and Manic Street Preachers, to name a few.
This library is designed to capture the essence of genre-defining rock albums recorded in various studio rooms, while also incorporating modern technology, forward-thinking ideas, and ingenuity to make your productions future-proof. In addition to using all the excellent vintage microphones and outboard gear available at Rockfield, the library was recorded through 14 channels of hardware tape emulation, recreating the unmistakable, warm, and rich sound of tape.
